At Home

Public transport, joining clubs, uni books, mobile phone rates and food amounts to a lot of money so I should find a job. Probably once I get used to uni though. Today, I've just been at home doing pretty much nothing. After all, uni is starting soon so I won't have much free time once it starts seeing that I don't even have a day off. Table tennis club costs $50! and I'm also thinking of whether to join soccer club. Going to bed a bit earlier from now on so I have enough energy to start uni after a very fun holiday.

O-Day 2

I was meant to be at Melbourne Uni at 9:55 but ended up waking up at 9:50. Waited around half an hour for the tram and got to Uni around 11:30. 75% of the scavenger hunt was already over and my group was nowhere to be seen (why didn't they wait for me for 90 mins?) so I joined Jason, Seb and Rahul's group. Afterwards, I spent ages with Seb and his genius friend Ahmad walking around uni. We just looked around for interesting clubs. Then after a few hours we went home.

O-Day 1

Yesterday was the start of orientation week at Melbourne Uni. There were a lot of malaysians in my group. It was great although the walking around the whole campus made me very tired. I didn't know that the Bailleau library was that big! I ran into a lot of my old Trinity friends as well although we didn't have time to catch up. Afterwards I managed to organize a mobile phone number after a lot of exploration and figured that AAPT Go15 plan works the best for me. Today, I didn't see much point of going to Melbourne Uni but will be going tomorrow for a treasure hunt activity. Sounds fun and hopefully waking up early to get there by 10am is worth it.

Melbourne University

I just spent most of the time giving presents to my year 12 teachers, going to melbourne uni to organize everything and shopping with my grandma and mum. First time out since returning to Australia. Orientation day tomorrow should be fun. Australia is so much quieter than Singapore and Hong Kong. Travelling is relatively inconvenient but I at least there's fresh air here. Finally picked all my uni subjects today and I'm all set for my first year of university.

Singapore

I stayed with my uncle and cousins for a week. We had a lot of hokkien food which was a new experience. Quite different from other chinese food like the stuff I ate in Hong Kong. Played a lot of mahjong but I lost most of the time. We played many rounds and I was the only one to beat my cousin! albeit once. It was very satisfying since I came last or third all the other times. Had lots of fun there.
